The Approved Finance Group (AFG) is a specialist finance provider offering a comprehensive suite of services, including Business Finance, Property Finance, Motor Finance, and R&D and Tax Relief solutions. With a focus on supporting UK businesses, AFG is dedicated to delivering tailored financial options that help clients achieve their growth ambitions.
Launched in May 2019, Approved Business Finance (ABF) is the flagship division of AFG and has rapidly grown into a leading force in the financial services sector. From a founding team to a dynamic workforce of nearly 50 professionals based in Central Milton Keynes, ABF’s growth reflects its innovative approach and strong market demand for its services.
Since its inception, ABF has supported SMEs across the UK by facilitating nearly £600 million in funding. Its expertise spans a wide range of industries, including Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Retail, and Hospitality. With a nationwide reach and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by growing businesses, ABF continues to empower clients with smart, effective financial solutions.

As we continue to grow, we’re committed to expanding our support for local social and charitable causes. The Northampton Saints Foundation will remain our core charity partner, and we will keep fundraising, donating, and volunteering to help them make an impact. Alongside this, we proudly support local sports clubs through sponsorship, which reflects the Approved Finance Group’s commitment to health and well-being.
We are also proud to partner with the Northampton Saints Foundation, a charity dedicated to transforming young lives. Drawing on the values of rugby and the club’s rich history, the Foundation supports and educates thousands each year, helping people to learn, develop skills, build confidence, and re-engage with education, training, or employment.
Since 2019, our partnership has helped raise over £200,000, demonstrating our deep commitment to corporate social responsibility and our mission to make a positive difference in the communities around us.
